Peter is an expert in research and analysis of large area displays (TVs, monitors, notebooks, and tablets), covering TFT, LCD, and OLED marketing, technology, and panel strategy. His analysis of supply capacity, product specifications, pricing, and short-term and long-term forecasts bring value to both panel makers and brand customers.
Peter joined Omdia (previously Display Search and then IHS Markit) in 2013, as part of the large area display analysis team.
Peter previously worked at AU Optronic, where he was notebook and tablet strategy product manager. He has a bachelor’s degree in economics from University of Victoria in Canada and a master’s degree in business administration from Concordia University in Wisconsin, US. Peter is a fluent speaker of Mandarin, Cantonese, and English.
