Ravi Shende

Analyst

Based in India, Ravi works with the Omdia forecasting and data analysis team. He covers telecoms operator performance, tracks TMT developments across the MENA region, provides quarterly updates of telecoms operators through the Omdia model, and focuses on improving the quality of data available to the clients.

Ravi has almost three years’ experience in the research industry. He also has experience in market and competitive analysis, product benchmarking, qualitative and quantitative research, forecasting, and in-database management processes. Before joining Informa (now Omdia), he worked at Infiniti Research on syndicated reports for seven months. Prior to Infiniti Research, he also worked across various industries, such as telecoms, IT, and retail at Netscribes for 1.5 years. He provided insights on companies’ business and technology strategies to clients. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in electronics and communication engineering from KITS College and a postgraduate diploma in management in telecom.
