As part of Omdia's consumer devices team, Zaker provides in-depth analysis on the mobile device market, covering the smartphone market. He is based in China and his research focuses on Chinese OEMs.
His main research areas include smartphone market competition, smartphone brand and market strategy, vendor monetization strategies, and smartphone users. Previously at IHS Markit (now Omdia), Zaker was a senior research analyst in the consumer devices team. Before that, he worked more than three years for TCL Group, focusing on global TV research. He holds a master's degree in management from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
