DC Ethernet adapter revenue up 11% QoQ, with units down 5% in 2Q22

Significant announcements:

  • NVIDIAs 200GE and 400GE offload and programmable NICs grew around 400% QoQ due to the huge number of shipments of AI servers containing NVIDIAs H100 GPU. Intel saw substantial but slightly lower growth than NVIDIA, with its 200GE IPU growing around 200%.
  • AMD’s Versal SoC has hit the market with 200GE capabilities focused on AI. This has the option to have 400GE ports, which will be introduced in the next few quarters.
