In 1Q25, 37 telcos offered 5G speed tiers, with a further 25 bundling 5G rich apps alongside speed tiers. Speed tiers, as a share of Omdia's main 5G monetization models, increased from 26% in 1Q25, up from 23% in 3Q24 as telcos leverage 5G Standalone and 5G Advanced improved speeds of up to 5Gbps.
