David Green

David Green leads on consultancy within the AI & IoT pillar, with 14 years of experience in the research and consulting industry. He brings together expertise from the research, media, and events teams to deliver high-quality bespoke offerings, generating client insight and taking their voice to the market.

Previously, David led the Smart Buildings & Energy Infrastructure team at Omdia, managing the research portfolio and bringing key technology trends, research, industry knowledge, and consumer analysis to clients through syndicated and custom research. He has also been a principal analyst for wireless power and a senior analyst for video surveillance and security. He has been invited to speak at many events, including AI Summit, IoT World, European Utility Week, DISTRIBUTECH, and the Wireless Power Summit. David joined Omdia (formerly IHS Markit) in 2013 and previously spent five years at an automotive technical consultancy on vehicle antitheft system, crime, and security research.
