Kevin Burden

Kevin has more than 15 years’ experience in market intelligence and analyzing the impact of wireless, mobile, and networking technologies on the enterprise. His focus is in quantifying customer requirements and delivering actionable insight on the dynamics of end-user demand across Omdia’s key areas of market coverage.  

Prior to joining Omdia, Kevin was VP of mobility and data strategy at 451 Research, leading analysis across all wireless technology segments. Previously he was senior manager of mobility at Nielsen Mobile and program manager, mobile and wireless markets at IDC. Kevin also spent 10 years at Computerworld, focusing on how corporations use technology to meet corporate goals. Kevin has been quoted in publications including The Wall Street Journal, Business Week, Time, Forbes, the Boston Globe, and Investor’s Business Daily and has spoken at industry events including CES, CTIA, and Mobile World Congress. He holds a BA in economics and English and an MS in economics from Northeastern University.
