Pablo Tomasi

Principal Analyst, Private Networks

Pablo Tomasi is a Principal Analyst in the Service Providers Enterprise And Wholesale practice, where he leads the company’s research on private 5G networks, 5G monetization, and innovative enterprise technologies and solutions. He helps clients with their strategic decisions by providing in-depth analysis of innovative technologies, strategies, regulations, and emerging ecosystems in the enterprise market.

Before his current role, he worked as a senior analyst in the IoT team, covering Industrial IoT (IIoT) and service provider strategies. Prior to joining Omdia, formerly Ovum, in 2019, Pablo was a senior analyst at ABI Research and IHS Markit, where he reported on service providers’ vertical market opportunities, IoT, and smart cities. Pablo has spoken at numerous events, including MWC, Total Telecom Congress, Private Networks in a 5G World, Network X, and Smart Cities Week.  

Camille Mendler

Research Director, Telco B2B

Camille Mendler has more than 25 years' multi-disciplinary experience in the digital economy and a global remit to anticipate key shifts in B2B demand patterns with a current focus on how 5G is disrupting enterprise ecosystems.

Her consultancy projects solve go-to-market challenges: identifying buyer segments, creating effective value propositions, and determining sales channel mix. Areas of expertise include managed and professional services, cloud and SaaS, and private networks.

During her tenure at Omdia, Camille has launched SoHo and SME and Enterprise Verticals intelligence services. She serves as a judge for the GSMA’s GLOMO Awards and TM Forum’s Excellence Awards.

Camille has advised organizations including the International Telecommunications Union, Open Society Foundations and World Bank. She has also worked as a telecom contract negotiator, expert witness in dark fiber matters, and technology journalist.

Camille won a research fellowship in Russian Area Studies from Georgetown University and holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and Russian from Northwestern University.

Evan Kirchheimer

Chief Research Officer, Omdia

As Chief Research Officer, Evan is responsible for the breadth of Omdia’s research across our four major segments: Enterprise, Consumer, Telecoms and Integrated Tech (semiconductors, displays, automotive, manufacturing and smart infrastructure). In this role he leads teams which are developing cutting-edge research in topics ranging from cybersecurity, AI, workspace technologies, channel, cloud and data center, consumer devices, media and entertainment services, games and games tech, media distribution and ProAV.

Previously, as Vice President of Service Provider research, Evan spent fifteen years focusing on telecoms service providers, their markets, and the vendors that support them, covering strategies and regulation, regional markets, networks, consumer, enterprise, and wholesale services. Prior to his research in the telecoms market, he developed expertise in enterprise communications, business intelligence, CRM and IT Services.

Evan’s primary focus today is to help providers identify new opportunities and guide the tech ecosystem toward them. He offers insights which enable vendors to counter competitive risk, develop ecosystem strategies, and offer innovative services to consumers and businesses. B2B services remain his core expertise.

Prior to joining Omdia (formerly Ovum) in 2009, Evan worked at Datamonitor and Nortel Networks. He holds a degree in English and European studies from Amherst College (Massachusetts, US) and Master of Philosophy in European Politics from the University of Oxford.

Brian Washburn

Chief Analyst, Telco B2B Solutions

Brian is a chief analyst for Omdia’s Telco B2B Solutions Intelligence Service, which covers enterprise networks and wholesale services, workspace services, and digital enterprise services practices. His current focus areas include B2B AI traffic requirements and telco B2B AI monetization, managed SD-WAN/SASE, network as a service, virtualized network services, and B2B connectivity and interconnection to data center and cloud resources.

Brian has explored communications and networking services for more than 30 years. His analyses examine how enterprises buy and use network and related managed services, as well as how providers can build, market, sell, deliver, and operate their services for enterprises most effectively.
