Julia Schindler

Principal Analyst, Strategy

Julia is a principal analyst in Omdia’s Service Provider Strategy team, where she analyzes strategic developments across the telecom industry, covering customer experience and artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure investments, among others. She also leads Omdia’s research on telecom sub-brands and operators’ multi-brand strategies, providing valuable insights into how companies position themselves in competitive markets.

Her expertise extends to producing country and company profiles for Germany and Switzerland, along with developing forecasts and data for the World Cellular Information Series and World Broadband Information Series. She joined Ovum, now Omdia, in 2019. Julia holds a master’s degree in marketing and business analysis from the University of Edinburgh in the UK and a bachelor’s degree in international business from Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Germany.

Diana Gorelik

Senior Analyst

Diana is a senior analyst focusing on the European markets for Omdia’s Service Provider EMEA Markets Intelligence Service team. She analyzes service provider strategies for mobile, fixed broadband, pay-TV, and OTT services, as well as regulatory issues and retail strategies.

Diana works on forecasts and data analyses for the World Cellular Information Series and the World Broadband Information Series. She produces country and operator profile updates, focusing on market developments and operators’ digital strategies. Diana also examines innovative AI solutions that service providers use to enhance customer propositions and optimize services. She leads Omdia’s research on service providers’ fixed-mobile convergence strategies. Diana holds a master’s degree in business economics from University College London.

Laxmareddy Vittalapuram

Senior Analyst Europe/Lead Analyst WIS Europe

Laxmareddy is a senior analyst in the Europe team at Omdia. His core focus is on tracking the growth of the mobile and fixed sectors across Western European markets.

He contributes country and company reports, case studies, M&A analysis, and opinion pieces covering key topics for major Western European countries. He also leads the Europe data team.

Before joining Omdia, formerly Ovum, in April 2014, Laxmareddy worked at Cross-Tab as an analyst, where he researched telecoms technologies, cloud, market intelligence, competitive intelligence, and business. He has also worked on various consulting assignments.

He holds a master's degree in business administration (specializing in telecoms management) and has a bachelor of engineering degree in electronics and communications from JNTU University, Hyderabad.

Anushree Agarwal

Analyst

Anushree Agarwal is an Analyst and member of the IT Tools and Insights team. She works on the IT Service Contracts Analytics (ITSCA) service. She tracks IT services contracts globally and updates the ITSCA database. Anushree also supports the Banking Software Contracts Analytics (BSCA) service.

Anushree has more than 10 years of experience in market research and has authored several reports identifying and analyzing IT service contracts and other IT service trends. Prior to joining Omdia in 2013, Anushree was a senior analyst with the MarketLine unit of Cognizant, where she worked on company profiles and SWOT analysis projects, as well as news coverage and content in the retail, energy, and technology verticals. Anushree holds a postgraduate diploma in management from the All India Management Association (AIMA) and a bachelor's degree in commerce from Osmania University, Hyderabad.

Megha C

Analyst, Service Providers and Markets

Megha is a part of the service provider team as an analyst for the European market at Omdia. Her role includes analyzing telecom operators, which includes mobile and fixed subscriptions and KPIs for selected European markets.

Before joining Omdia in May 2022, Megha worked as a researcher at The Business Research Company (TBRC). In this role, she conducted secondary research into telecom operators, regulators, and services provided by operators in various regions. Megha holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications from Don Bosco Institute of Technology (DBIT), Bangalore.

Sanghamitra Parida

Analyst

Sanghamitra Parida is a research analyst in Omdia’s Service Provider team – Europe. She tracks telecom sector developments as well as KPIs across Europe and works on Omdia's databases, improving the quality of data available to the clients. She contributes to products such as the World Cellular Information Service, World Broadband Information Service, World Telecoms Financial Benchmarks, and World Cellular Investors for Eastern and Western European countries. 

Sanghamitra has almost three years of experience in the data research industry (mainly Real estate and telecom). Before joining Omdia in November 2021, Sanghamitra worked with S&P Global data research team. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in management (specializing in finance and marketing) from IMIS, Bhubaneswar, and has a Bachelor of Science degree in physics from Rama Devi Women's University, Odisha.

William Thompson-Hare

Research Director

William Thompson-Hare is the Research Director for Telecoms Data Strategy at Omdia. He is responsible for leading and managing Omdia’s World Information Series (WIS) product family (including WCIS and WBIS) and driving the creation of unique market data for the telecom industry.

William has more than 17 years of experience in the telecom sector, advising operators, NRAs, and professional services firms worldwide. He joined Omdia in 2020 and became the practice leader for European Service Provider Markets. William led a team of analysts covering fixed and mobile market developments in the European telecom industry across more than 50 countries. His specializations include market modeling and data analysis, market forecasting, 5G, and broadband market dynamics. William holds a degree in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge.
