Andrew is a principal analyst in Omdia’s AI & Intelligent Automation practice, with a vertical focus of AI use cases and AI business impact, primarily in healthcare and financial services.
Based in Oxford, his career of 30 years spans the professional and financial services and life sciences sectors as an IT practitioner, industry analyst, and consultant. Andrew has worked in IT for multinational organizations such as JP Morgan and Merck Pharmaceuticals and as an industry analyst and market researcher for Grant Thornton and Goldman Sachs in corporate finance and investment banking, respectively. As an industry analyst, Andrew has advised enterprises on digital transformation to improve operational efficiency, IT product selection, business case development, best practice, IT strategy, and implementation. Andrew advises tech companies on product strategy and development, competitive intelligence, use cases, corporate development strategy, and go-to-market messaging. Brad has more than 25 years of experience in IT technology, analyzing data and information architectures. He also has experience as an IT professional, business analyst, book author/editor, and high-tech journalist/editor.

Alexander Harrowell

Starting as a journalist at Mobile Communications International magazine, Alexander has 17 years’ experience. Since joining Omdia in 2016, Alexander has covered technologies for small and medium enterprises, with a focus on mobile and, more recently, 5G for enterprises. He developed the Omdia Enterprise 5G Innovations Tracker to monitor the emerging enterprise 5G and CBRS ecosystem. He was the second employee of start-up consulting firm STL Partners, where he worked on mobile, open source, distributed computing, and the two-sided business model.

Natalia Modjeska
Research Director, AI and Intelligent Automation
Natalia Modjeska leads the AI & IA research team at Omdia. She has 15+ years of experience in developing and deploying analytics and AI. Her diverse career includes R&D, product and program management, sales, consulting, and client advisory. She has worked with organizations of all sizes and levels of maturity across many industries and geographies helping clients to harness the power of data, advanced analytics and AI for transformative change. She has advised 200+ organizations around the globe on topics ranging from AI strategy and use cases, to execution, best practices, governance, ethics, emerging trends, and vendor due diligence.
Natalia is passionate about helping clients to demystify AI/ML and to deploy these technologies responsibly. As part of that effort, she serves as an expert on the ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 42 - AI Standards working group and she volunteers with several non-profits to develop responsible AI certification; increase AI literacy and improve government through innovative technologies. Natalia holds a PhD in AI (NLP) from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland and an Executive MBA from the Ivey School of Business (Western University).
Alexander Bourgeois
Senior Analyst, AI and Digital Transformation
As a member of the applied intelligence & IIOT group, Alexander focuses on digital transformation covering industrial and process automation. Alexander’s market intelligence focus is in examining the implementation of enterprise Artificial Intelligence use cases and various emerging trends within the broad scope of digitalization.
He joined Informa Tech in September 2018, bringing a wealth of experience in discrete and process industries, including roles in project management and market intelligence in onsite industrial manufacturing. He holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering with a focus on systems engineering from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California. Alexander is based in Munich, Germany.
