This is the first iteration of Omdia's new supplementary online video market tracker, analyzing the latest relative size of the direct retail market, online video subscriptions based on direct contacts between the customer and the online video operator and indirect wholesale market, subscriptions that are contractual between the customer and a distribution partner of the online video operator, for SVOD. This tracker includes market data analysis and forecasts for 74 markets and 13 world regions, from the year 2011 until 2028, for a full coverage of Omdia's forecast period. Each market is listed with three metrics: total paid subscriptions, which refers to the sum total of all individual SVOD services tracked by Omdia in each market, as well as direct to consumer subscriptions and indirect wholesale subscriptions, which are new metrics that are exclusively available in this tracker.
